Genetic Targets and Precision Medicine

Welcome to our research group webpage!

Research

We use statistical genetics and Bayesian methods to prioritise genes as candidate drug targets and to undertake prediction and causal inference analyses to inform clinical decisions around diagnosis, prognosis and choice of treatment.

Our research focuses on the following three broad aims:

  1. Aim 1: Identify and prioritise genes as targets for drug development.
  2. Aim 2: Identify biomarkers of treatment response and disease progression.
  3. Aim 3: Evaluate the efficacy and safety of pharmacological interventions using real-world data.
